In addition to writing for magazines, newspapers and blogs I can provide copywriting, editing, communications and social media services.
Copywriting and Communications:
This green building company was looking for help with social media and creating an bimonthly e-newsletter. Since I started with them my responsibilities have grown to include ghostwriting blog posts on Mother Earth News and managing the Facebook pages for both of the company’s product lines (Faswall and Durable GreenBed raised garden kits).
Jones & Roth CPAs and Business Advisors
As part of their growing focus on content marketing, Jones & Roth regularly asks me to create blog posts for them. Those blog posts are utilized for their various email and print newsletters as well as their website and social media pages.
Northwest Quilting Expo
The Northwest Quilting Expo is one of the Northwest’s oldest and most respected quilt shows. They asked me to manage their social media accounts, write their e-newsletter and determine ways to market their event to younger audiences. I managed a very successful Facebook ads campaign for their 2016 event. The organic reach of boosted posts was higher than the paid reach, showing that they were well-written and targeted to the right audiences.
Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation
The Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation requested help with an upcoming fundraising campaign as well as articles for their newsletter.

Communications and Social Media Services:
I spent nearly four years as the Digital Communications Coordinator at St. Vincent de Paul of Lane County, where I oversaw their website and social media channels. As a result of that work, I got good experience writing for SEO, using Google Analytics to evaluate the website’s effectiveness, and writing social media plans. I am quite familiar with Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and LinkedIn. Contact me for more information.
“I’ve worked with dozens if not hundreds of content writers over the years, many of whom disappear, miss deadlines, or provide low quality content. Sophia is certainly in the top 5% when it comes to being reliable, reasonably priced, providing great content, and most importantly a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her for any content writing needs!” –Brendan Egan, Simple SEO Group
